This is a classic example of just going with your Gut regardless of the numbers...Costa Rising was an absolute bet against in that race regardless of the negative 5s on the TG sheets. If you just looked at the race without the TG numbers you would say this is an Evangeline horse that got loose on the lead slowed up the pace and won a couple of races. I looked at the sheets saw the numbers and said ... What the #### ... I didn't even put costa rising in 4th on any of my Superfecta tickets..Go between (next best numbers) was a lock after you threw out Costa Rising..
As always be very careful with horses that won their last race loose on the lead while setting a slow pace..Their numbers always come back very good but it is usually not something they can replicate without those same conditions happening next time..
