[b][color=#0033CC]Just for the sake of clarity, the Velasquez/Pletcher went off at 7.2-1
The winning filly went off at 6.7-1
In other words there really wasn't very much to "Pletcher" value shopping in said race.
The B.C. Distaff itself will be an excellent betting race with Pletcher taking buckets of dollars.
Another interesting race will be the B.C. Classic. Made all the more so by the Jockey Club Gold Cup results. Lawyer Ron definitely lost some luster after two superhorse performances and looks up against it on cycle and scenario. Expect a wild outcome at Monmouth with Plech gasping as hard as his horses.
Out there... by the sea
the finish line waits for me
my horses stand on golden sands
and run past the Plech's as they are fading
Out there...by the sea
Horses are running for me
They will fly like birds on high
and straight to the line
They'll go sailin'
Like a rocket to the stars
The Apollo module to the moon
I know... beyond a doubt
Which horses have peaked their race too soon.
We'll meet there at the shore
we'll cash just as before
Happy we'll be beyond the sea
as all the Plech horses go fadin'
I know... beyond a doubt
my heart will lead me there soon
We'll meet (I know we'll meet) beyond the shore
We'll cash just as before
Happy we'll be beyond the sea
as all the Plech horses go fadin'
