Guess Who's Missing? (894 Views)

Davis just moved to Baltimore, yet the woman who answered the phone at his listed residence indicated that he doesn't live there anymore. So instead of basking in the glory of hitting one of the most difficult pk6s ever, Davis goes into hiding. Hegarty is asking the right questions, like how exactly is the info on live bets transmitted after the 4th leg & what controls are in place to prevent manipulation, but Amtote & Autotote won't give him any answers. Hopefully, today Hegerty will start thinking about the identities of the individuals who actually make & supervise the transfers & any links between Davis & the single ticket pk6 scores at Sar on 8/4 & 8/17. At least that's the advice I plan to give him if I can figure out how to email him on the drf website.

Bob: Most of my friends who have a casual interest in racing, including one who sat next to me at the BC, didn't even know there was a question about the wager. However, one of my friends who is in charge of computer security at a bank & who knows virtually nothing about racing, apparently knows quite a bit about about the matter. I hope to speak to him today & will report back if he has any interesting insights into the matter.
