Kudos to the TG handicapper that selected both Concorde Escapade and Star Chief on Saturday’s AQU card.

I'd be most interested in hearing the logic behind those two selections. Concorde I could kind of make a case for off the layoff though I was afraid the 6 was a knockout top. I should have listened to Uncle Mall on this one, he loved her. Star Chief was even harder for me to make. I thought the paired 2s were jump up drug numbers (note the comment “disqualified from purse money” after the 8/23 running line). His last three weren’t very good and I couldn’t come up with a reason for him to get back to the 2 (though I really tried).

Again congratulations on two courageous selections that scored at boxcar mutuels.
