I read this somewhere:

Posted by Charley Varrick on February 09, 2003 at 20:09:48:

I don't know how the numbers are made. I don't care, any more than I care about the processes used in making any number of consumer products I use daily.
I have faith in The Sheets, based on almost twenty years of beneficial use.
I am more interested in posts on how to skillfully use the Sheets, than discussions generated by the paranoid one. He defines his essence by your product. He lives for and luxuriates in this type of discourse. He is always so obnoxious, that he becomes a de facto salesman of your product.
Time devoted to the useless attempt to reason with someone whose expressed motives are to do your business harm (what %tage of his posts are related to handicapping?), is time that could be used to improve the handicapping skills and knowledge of your customers. The very process of answering him, highlights his ravings. He can't win these inane arguments, he just wants to drag you into them.
Do you think that it is a coincidence that he started beating this drum immediately after you put up 4 consecutive top 4 finishes in one of the country's tougher handicapping contests?
Don Knottts said:
" Andy, If you get in a pissing match with a skunk, do you still get up with fleas"?

Andy: " Well I don't think I've ever been tempted to try that Barn"
