Well right now I'm kicking myself for not asking this sooner, perhaps the answer will allow me to rest a little easier.

What was Passinetti's top in 1999 and years prior? The reason I ask is because I was torn between him, Special Matter and Delta Form in the BRIS contest. Not knowing what it was, I gambled and said the 4.5's were his top and given the spacing and suspect soundness I'll take a stand against him. I gave him a 4.5 - 6.5 for the race and at the weights 4.5 made him very competitive. Yes, it was an error on my behalf. But knowing 4.5 was/is his top would make me feel a lot better. His win and place mutuel would have won me the contest instead of finishing 24th.
