Just thought you would find these quotes from the Beyer Preakness article in todays DRF a little interesting.
"Horseplayers who call themselves trip handicappers know that winners are often determined by the way a race develops....by the fact that some horses are forced to run wide on the turns while others save ground".
"With his outside post position(Funny Cide) at Pimlico, he is apt to have a slightly more difficult trip than Peace Rules. These factors ought to be worth more than two lengths."
Why don't Beyer, Crist and all the rest admit it--"The Sheets Rule". What's this trip garbage he has come with.
PS-I thought Jerry's analysis was right on, I feel several big scores coming at Pimlico tomorrow.
