Okay, so you might have noticed the comment on the Ragozin board about owner stats. This is another of Friedman's cutesy, girlish slaps at me-- he is referring to Rising Graph, a multiple ownership venture managed by yours truly that is not doing well, and he is trying to make it look like we don't do well in general in the advising/consulting department.

Well, recently Friedman was responsible (apparently) for the purchase of Dashboard Drummer, who in his first start after purchase won the Sapling. Len posted that this was "as good as it gets" for him, and this time he was telling the truth-- until recently the Ragozin office main claim to fame was website poster boy Hot Wells, whose own claim to fame was getting squashed a few times by Victory Gallop.

As for Dashboard Drummer, he is a nice horse, and Len's partners on the horse are nice people. But it is worth noting that so far this horse has won back about 25% of what he cost, and is a gelding. And that the trainer who got the win for Friedman has been getting some truly exciting numbers recently.

As for us, we have been responsible for the purchase of the aformentioned Victory Gallop, as well as Da Hoss, Distorted Humor, License Fee, Pompeii, and overall a total of 65 horses that have gone on to win stakes after being purchased on our advice. "As good as it gets" for us (and our clients) is a classic win, an Eclipse award, a couple of Breeder's Cup wins, a multiple track record breaking leading sire, etc.. Thoro-Graph has been responsible for more graded winners (and possibly grade one winners) than the Ragozin operation has stake winners of any kind, and we have been in business about half as long.
