Horse's Weight (1073 Views)

Would it not be a good idea, to have the actual weight of the horse in the past performances, like they do for the dogs? You could then see, which horses filled out from there two year old season to three and so on. You could quickly tell which horses have been sick because of the layoff, and which ones didn't recover after a hard race. They do loose considerable weight after a race or series of races. Why has there never been a push to get this important information out. All the trainers weigh there horses anyway, and they can weigh the horses prior to the races at a specified time. So what could be the hold-up for not providing this information.
