Lost in all of the AZERI defeat was the incredulous decision made by the Santa Anita stewards to DQ ELLOLUV from second.

Yes, I am venting here because it cost me a substantial score. Putting that aside, is there anyone out there who can speak without the emotion attached to the financial impact.??

My points are these: 1) ADORATION was tiring and bearing in and out herself 2) ELLOLUV had already passed her rather easily and was 1 1/2 to 2 lenghts clear of her when she bore in. ADORATION was tiring, not closing, at this point.

So now we'll have jockeys simply standing up on their cooked mounts each time they have a chance to get put up into one of the top 4 spots, right??? The game is tough enough, especialy when you're betting against a horse like AZERI.
