Wise approach. When asked what he had been up to lately, Einstein replied that he had been collecting data on a problem. A student asked hime what he was going to do with the data now that he had collected such a mountain of information. He gave the questioner a look as if it should be obvious to a four year old: "I shall now, of course, just look at the data."
