It certainly does. He toyed with allowance horses, so it's still tough to say but I'm sure his Thoro # was solid.
It will be an interesting year if he's back.

Friedman was quoted as saying that HALFBRIDLED should get Horse of the Year since she was relatively the fastest horse in 2003("for a two-year-old filly, HALFBRIDLED is about as good as it gets").
(Thoroughbred Times---January 10, Pg.32).
He also touts DYNEVER to "be the best older horse in 2004." I tout DYNEVER to continue to be the money burning sucker bet that he was in 2003.
