Unlikely Lyons said it ironically or sadly, since he probably doesn't know (let alone care) who owns the filly, or of the rivalry. More likely he just didn't bet her, and knew of the other TVG people, many of whom use TG, who did.

Check out the Red Board Room-- we put her up as a win bet. At $25 she was a good bet, regardless of who owns her. And after seeing Friedman in the winners circle, it looks like he's getting in shape for Vegas-- he must have lost at least 30 pounds, maybe more.

By the way, I have been told that one of the guys who hit the pick 6 put in $87k (!!!).
