I write the programs so JB deputed me to answer.

The figure-based stats date from January 1 1998, while the runs-based ones are done for a rolling five years - so this year's start from January 1 2000. We used the extra years for the figure-based stats in order to increase the sample sizes.

For the dam and progeny records the figures in parenetheses are the number of runs the horses had in the different categories. TG may not have made figures for the tracks the horses ran at, particularly in the early 90s, so if we didn't make a figure we show a ?
