I, too, am kicking myself over this race, wondering "what might have been". I was down at Turfway the day in question. I arrived just before Race 7, and boxed the top 4 finishers in that race, hitting the trifecta. Should have boxed the same 4 for the super, but hindsight is 20/20. I also bet $10 wps on Brass Hat. Needless to say, it was a great race.

The problem arose when I went to cash in my tickets. The woman who helped me had never filled out a declaration form before, and it literally took me 20 minutes to get paid. When I went to look at the odds in the Lane's End, I was salivating. I loved Sinister G, and should have wheeled everyone under him. Instead, I boxed 5 horses -- Sin G, Silver Minister, Stolen Time, Little Matth Man & Birdstone. (I was torn between throwing Birdstone out altogether and including Tricky, but I didn't have the cajones). I also made a nice w/p bet on Sinister G, which was the only ticket I cashed, obviously.

Oh well, I had a great day overall. Seemed to be in "the zone", and can only hope I'm half as lucky next weekend when I hit Keeneland for opening weekend.
