Great Post!

Love the analogy to the Final Four.

Methinks you discount the Illinois Derby however. It is run on something of an oddball track, but the last few runnings have turned up some very good horses. I'm not sure anyone considered them good until the race was over however.

Cindy Crawford has that mole thing going on. I'm not sure that I wouldn't get fixated on that mole and then fail to appreciate the perfections. I think I'd prefer Angela Jolie crawling naked. She just has that "crawling naked" aura about her. (It might be the pout) But then again, her Dad is Jon Voight and she resembles him when he was young. I think I'd see "Joe Buck" crawling naked every time I'd look at her, so that won't do either.

I think celebrities are like horses in a sense. The ones held in high regard many times come up second best to talent and heart that slipped beneath the national radar and went under appreciated.
