I'm starting to get very depressed.
I think that this horse is not only capable of winning the Derby, I think he has all the tools and room for significant growth necessary to win the Triple Crown.
I've got some theories of my own with regards to the Wood figure. Let's assume, of course, that Master David ran back to or slightly past his 2 yr. old best of 2. With the ground loss that "Eddi - Ton " incurred, his number would be better than his previous top of 1 3/4 and sets him up for another move on May 1. I think this 'imaginary' scenario fits for Tapits sheet as it's not absurd to think he ran a 2-3 point new top himself.
Regardless, it now appears that Derby fever is striking what were previously assumed to be logical minds and the end result is the racing world misses out on this year's superstar in the biggest of races.
The closer we get, the more likely it is that the qualifying, non-threats will show up.
Sinister G. Please !
Action this Day. Ibid.
St. Averil ? What happened to responsible management of young horses ?
Birdstone? Didn't he run the same time at a 1 70 yds. that Eddington ran a 1 1/16th in.
