Well, speaking of the Derby Trial, supposedly Rock Hard Ten might run there, but not as a way of getting the earnings to get into the Derby. He will only run, said his trainer, if he is assured of not getting in. He would be using the Derby Trial simply as a prep race for the Preakness, with no intention whatsoever of running him back 7 days hence.

So it might not come up the soft spot we all think.

Now, having said that, I doubt they'll do that with RHT.

And I too have a not insubstantial amount invested in a certain good looking Hennig colt. Ahhhhh....one little neck...how very annoying.

And what the hell is with Sinister G being pointed to the big show. Come on...this horse was destroyed in the Wood and will be, probably, 100+:1 on derby day, surely he'll be the longest shot on the board...why are they running him and screwing us over?????

grrr...
