I think that the reason the people on the East Coast don't have problems with Youbet is that they cannot bet Santa Anita, only California residents are "allowed" that "priviledge"! They had problems on SA Derby Day because all the servers were tied up with CA - but when they bet the 2nd at Aqueduct - there's no one out here betting.

Try getting on after the last race at Aqueduct and see if you still have open access.
