I don't buy it. Granted the traffic on the final turn, but he was 1w and saving ground on the first turn. Also Beyer must be looking at some other race when he says that Imperialism "was blocked in the stretch when he lost the Santa Anita Derby". He might have been shut off in the stretch but he sure wasn't passing RockHard Ten or Castledale.

But I hope the horse comes to Pimlico. Smarty will just do it again. The only one that concerns me is Rock Hard Ten.
