Thanks for the thoughtful answer. While Fourstardave has a certain appeal to it, it probably doesn't fit the situation best.

There were almost exactly 30 people listening to Alan's seminar on Travers morning at Trackside Grill. So there is a certain following that would come and go from a designated TG area on Travers Day. I counted more than once during the seminar to make certain. Approximately 10 of us sit together on Travers Day the last few years with others that come and go to the area throughout the day to say "hi" and discuss racing. Uncle Bill as well as others bring water, beer, food, more beer, more food and more beer and more food to share with everyone. Bill has about 6-8 fold out chairs also. So even just 2 tables and room for the chairs would be enough. After NYRA arguably committed "Trespass to Chattels" with respect to Uncle Bill's chairs, I think it is fair to say that NYRA can come up with some solution as restitution if someone at TG pushed the issue hard enough.
