Singling out horse racing seems a weak barometer of the demise of our country's ethics & civilization. The list of wrongdoing in other activities is too long even to get started on.

In fact, as deplorable as cheating at the track is it pales in comparison to other headlines. Theft, gun violence, ethnic prejudice, war crimes, abuse of corporate power, and government corruption. I don't even have a clue about the crimes being perpetrated in the food and climate realms.

Hopefully, they will be racing at Belmont tomorrow but I would prefer a delay of whatever is necessary to protect the horse's health.
