I would imagine almost all of those rules/percentages would apply to any May/June 3yo race.
I treat it like any other race and make some considerations for distance pedigree on the lightly raced horses. Don't fall in love with plodders just because the race is longer, often there is no pace in this race as the speed horses don't bother. I imagine Rich Strike will be a pretty big overlay creating some value for others.
