I'm not gonna lie. With DJ Pauly D signed up to perform Pre-Race, this is a Belmont that I will wish I attended. Before anyone asks, I too, have absolutely no idea who Pauly D is.
Are there racing reasons to be excited for the weekend? I guess so. On Friday, Chad Brown sends out not One, not Two, Not Three, BUT FOUR, YES FOUR Peter Brant owned horses in the G1 New York. It's a seven horse field. Maybe he can buy the other three also.
Saturday, with stars like Flightline and wondering if he scratches, Echo Zulu, Malathaat and Letruska, my hope is that maybe one of the races will be a match race...
Oh man....I'm just a barrel of optimism aren't I? LOL.
The main event suggests the First Three Words of the Constitution will win the First three strides of the Belmont and it maybe OVER 1.5 furlongs into the 1.5 mile race.
I will watch with interest. And No one has (BLEEPED) up this Triple Crown more than me at the windows. I'll tell you the stories of Derby and Preakness scores I (BLEEPING) missed/canceled at the Spa. I've actually been betting more accurately lately although that successful action is at smaller less attractive tracks. The big days are a bit more difficult although not impossible. But the fear of short fields this weekend does make me wonder about the ability to find some price horses at Elmont.
Whitney weekend or Labor Day? Which one will I see you?
Now who is your 2022 Belmont selection??? Once the data is out there, I'll be curious your play if you have time to study and post.
Hope all is well and enjoyed the read in both strings you started.
