Fair Odds: Whitmore Stakes (333 Views)

The two favorites are fast in here, but could be vulnerable if they bounce. With that said:

TEJANO TWIST: 7/5
RYVIT: 9/5

TEJANO TWIST has been comfortable at around the 1 level ever since he was a late 3yo. Along the way he paired -2's at Oaklawn last year. He'll be tough to beat if history repeats itself.

RYVIT is off a two point top ... on short rest ... off lasix.

I'm tempted to take a shot with JAXON TRAVELER. To bet against the two favorites I'm going to need at least 6/1. JAXON TRAVELER is listed at 12/1 on the ML. That seems to be a good price, but he needs to keep improving. Can he do it, or is it too much of a reach? He's been slow to come around since the layoff.

Confidence Level: Low
