Watch out for our friends at NYRA. A few months ago they announced with the early scratches that a very formful Dutrow runner, Draw Play I think, was to wear aluminum pads. I threw DP out of a multiple race wager based on this information, which was repeated twice during the day.

15 minutes before post, Durkin gets on the PA and announces that the previous announcements were to be disregarded, that DP was not wearing AP(s). Needless to say, DP ran by his field like a freight train going by a hobo. Its all about information.
