TGJB -
I'm curious about the decision to run Super Frolic at 10 furlongs again, given that his two negative numbers were at 8.5. Do you consider the 10f an advantage (to prove his ability to get the distance) or a disadvantage of running in this spot?
On a related topic (since Pine Bluff's TGI pattern suggests Super Frolic should have distance ability), how good do you think the TGI is as an indicator of a horse's likely ability to get 10f? Have you ever done any figure-based studies of horses stretching out for the first time to see if horses having sires with a favorable distance TGI are less likely to produce an off race (for example)? I know that when I did some amateur statistics using the Derby archives, I didn't find the TGI to be a useful indicator of ability to get the Derby distance.
