"Also what everyone does know is that when numerous smart savvy connections turned down the chance to purchase Captain Bodgit, you hired "rogue" Vet the late Doc Alex Harthill to make an assessment. The bulging bowed tendon that the Captain had was declared no problem to "treat". Perhaps it was after that point you and "The Doc" exchanged all those stories you boasted about having horses "lit up" in your Bloodhorse Story."

Excuse me for a moment, but if I bought Captain Bodgit for $500,000, won the Grade 1 Florida Derby, the Wood Memorial, ran second in the Kentucky Derby, and third in the Preakness Stakes and Fountain of Youth Stakes and sold him based on $2.5 million, then what does that make me, if all those numerous folks who passed up buying the colt were "smart and savvy?"
