WHAT HAPPENED TO PERFECT DRIFT? (1422 Views)

I have yet to read any posts on either board regarding the total failure of Perfect Drift, a horse who was given the best chance of running well, not necessarily winning but at least not "x"ing. Does anyone have an opinion? Was he injured?

I posted the question on the other board and I'll post it here: Andy Beyer was negative on the spacing of Perfect Drift's races coming into the Belmont. He said that the history of horses without a race between the Derby and the Belmont was horrible. I don't have any history on this. Does anyone else believe that this is significant?
