The DRF has no call on the chart at the 6f mark for a 12f race.
Birdstone was five lengths behind after 8f and three and a half lengths out after 10f.
Lemon Drop Kid was 8th by five lengths after 8f.
Editor's Note was 5th by five and a half lengths after 8f.
Colonial Affair was 5th by four lengths after 8f.
Strike The Gold was 7th by seven and a half lengths after 8f and lost by a head (I know this is 15 years ago, but still).
I don't think you want to be far far back on the turn, but you don't need to make a winning move 4f to 6f from the wire.
