Can't argue that Lawyer Ron is a ground pounder, but in that field he could be excused coming off his surgery and having only one race. He still ran very well. Maybe Strong Contender is the better horse, time will tell. The latter did go off at 5-2 second choice in that race. Now he's not a "one timer" any longer. Whether he beats Ron next time, if there is a next time, will be interesting. Its likely we'll get better odds whichever way we choose to bet.
