I missed the GP race but it looks like the NY stewards also screwed up in the 8th race at Aqueduct today. At the head of the stretch the head-on shows Angliana slamminging into Shuffling Madness sending him bouncing into the hindquarters of Mayan King, turning him sideways and out of contention. When I saw the stewards inquery sign come up I expected them to do the right but they let the race stand with Angliana holding 2nd. Even if this were a case of gutless stewards playing psychic and ignoring fouls that they don't think it affects a race's, outcome they still got it wrong. Mayan King was in 2nd and moving well until he got slammed into.
Between this and Liquor Cabinet's suspiciously super performance since moving to Dutrow's barn, this race really leaves a bad taste.

Bob
