Just heard that Beyer changed Summer Doldrums Whirlaway figure from 107 to 94. What’s worse is that, based on the figure, trainer Violette figured the horse would automatically bounce anyway so be barely bothered to train him for the Gotham. Talk about your self-fulfilling prophecies. It would have been nice if he had shared this information with the bettors BEFORE the race.

Jerry, I don’t know what figure you gave SD for the Gotham but since you gave a more realistic figure to the Whirlaway in the first place and you factor in SD’s 3w-3w trip in the Gotham, I'm guessing his TG figures for the 2 races will be pretty compatible – especially considering SD may have been a bit short due to Violettes’s bonehead training move.
