TGJB,
This is the e-mail I received. I've set it apart in quotes.
"Dear PaceAdvantage.com Members,
I wrote to you last week asking you to support a petition requesting that The Jockey Club step in and help fix the current Advance Deposit Wagering (ADW) mess. Over 400 of you responded during a brief three day period, and the result was that our voices WERE HEARD during The Jockey Club Round Table Conference held last Sunday in Saratoga.
JC President Alan Marzelli read from the letter I sent to him, which also included a complete printout of the petition and all the individual responses from members such as yourself .
"Marzelli also read from a letter sent to The Jockey Club by about 400 horseplayers who posted a petition on the forum Web site PaceAdvantage.com. The horseplayers said the current environment that requires them to sign up for multiple wagering accounts to gain access to various signals is chasing away bettors."
The above quote is taken from an article on The Blood-Horse website.
In fact, The Blood-Horse has written FOUR articles which contain references to PaceAdvantage.com and our actions to date:

http://www.bloodhorse.com/articleindex/article.asp?id=40315
http://www.bloodhorse.com/articleindex/article.asp?id=40381
And it's not just The Blood-Horse. We were also mentioned in an article in the Daily Racing Form:

I am blown away that we have attained such wide exposure in such a small amount of time, and all the credit for this success goes to those who took the time to read and sign the petition. But that was simply step one.
As a group, we have decided that the next step in this reform process is to flex the one muscle this industry can't afford to ignore, and that's the one inside our collective wallets.
Step two occurs this Saturday, August 25 in the form of a "Buycott."
A "Buycott" is the OPPOSITE of a boycott. We have chosen to target a small track, The Downs at Albuquerque (ALB), and our goal is to markedly increase their overall handle for the day. There are no hard or fast rules here. All we are asking is that you take a good look at Saturday's Albuquerque card and if you see something you like, put some $$$ through their windows.
There are quite a few posts at the following links to aid you in finding out where you can play ALB, where you can watch ALB video, track profiles, selections, etc:

Let's build on the impressive momentum we have attained in such a short period of time. Let's show the industry that the petition wasn't a "one hit wonder." Let's continue to illustrate what a united group of horseplayers can accomplish when properly motivated!
They've heard our voices. Now let them know we mean business!
Sincerely"
