I agree. This Albuquerque buycott is a risky proposition. It could easily fail and backfire.
I don't know how many horse players will want to spend time trying to handicap and lose money on a small track they are not familiar with and cannot get good data for.
Even if it succeeds, I doubt the big tracks will be impressed. They can easily absorb what would seem like a substantial change in handle at a small track. They need to be hit and feel the pinch directly.
