I played 5 horses in this leg of the NTRA pik 4. I figured Lady J would not be pushed to the extreme and was vulnerable - left her off, along with the winner who is too slow, and the place horse I also left out...great start.

Figuring the next 3 legs would have at least two favs, and noting hte previous day that Baffert left NY so fast to get to CA, I played Tiz Sis as the single, noting also that the place horse never went to the whip with the eagerness Tiz's did down the stretch. Hysterical will be my BC horse for sure. Lava Man was a toss, and I played Funky/Surf Cat in that leg...more greatness. Geg's Gold just had the worst trip I have ever seen in a 5 horse field...that was hard to take (and a classic "I'll get it all back here" bet).

topping it all off was my late pik 3 at Oak watching my 5 horse fly down the lane a tad late which was going to pay $248 for the $1 pik 3, which I had twice. There is light at the end of this rainbow - todays's carryover. good luck.
