Seems as if the folks in Kentucky never took into account that this is a man who has been excluded from racing in Hong Kong for a period slightly longer than 6 months.
Maybe PB can use his down time to study the "Trainer Responsibility" rule.
I appreciated his contrition and his apology that his case might cast a cloud over racing at Breeders Cup time, but his claims that he was unaware that snake venom was in his barn or being administered to the animals in his care is,in a word, fatuous.
My general theory here is that as members of society, we all want society to be forgiving. That way, when as individuals we seek forgiveness, we can almost be assured that it will be forthcoming.
