I like the title, and I like you as well. Three of the ten guys on my desk in London were European socialists (two of them scored perfect on their SAT's). I enjoy discussing these topics with intelligent people. I have, however, studied this stuff for seventeen years, and yes, I have read several English language versions of "Das Kapital" and "The Manifesto". One version of the writings my professor in college used was about 700 pages long, I think about 200 pages devoted to the writings that eventually made up "The Manifesto". The thing was not written in twenty minutes as you seem to think (I will try to find out how many of the utopian twins writings actually went into their final version of "The Manifesto", I know many scholars have written on the subject). If you start getting more of your info from the London School of Economics, and less from Amazon.com, you will be more informed. I have met at least ten finance ministers in the Central and Eastern European countries, and have spoken to thousands of citizens from these countries. Your post contains numerous errors, and ignores the most important point: you have never even read Hayek, and most likely have never even witnessed the damage socialism did to Europe. Clean up your pile of crap my friend, then I will respond. I really want to believe you are an intelligent liberal, not just a pissed off radical.
