What the hell is another million to some who has a couple of billions? If the horse never wins another race, it doesn't matter, there enough money to buy another. However, it's very good for the game to have people spend money for sportsmanship. The real gamblers in horse racing are these owners who go out and spend 2 million on a yearling, that horse might never get to the track. D Wayne Lukas has a stable pony he bought for $750,000 a couple of years ago. Good luck to Grand Hombre and his new owners.
