That was an interesting article,however I think a bit misleading,not to say that trotter/pacers haven't gotten faster,but the study doesn't reflect track configuration,ie: How many of these races were run ove a 1 mile track ? how many over a 5/8's track ? ect....More races were contested over 2 or 3 turns ,more recently and that would certainly would affect final time,would it not ?
