Excellent analysis. I think Baffert cranks up for the win knowing he has 4 weeks to recover (e.g. CAVONNIER, SILVER CHARM).

I think Baffert's being more cautious with PATB, running him in the Blue Grass with "only" 3 weeks in between. Perhaps there is where BB wants just a nice finish.
