Clement had 2 modest breezes in this horse after a light Training regimen post Belmont. The stiff works used by the Bafferts and others to get these 3YO's primed are not his style or say a Bill Mott and that is why they don't excel in this Class of 3YO Classics. Assuming this horse doesn't have persistent quarter crack issues he is going to be ONE HELL of a 4YO on Dirt or Turf.

BTW why did Muragh put the whip away with 90 yards to go? 40 yards maybe. Was this a miscalculation that he could strong arm ride him out to the wire? If so where do I go to get my money back ;-)
