U are right, my conclusion is weak. I guess because I don't have a strong conviction as to whether it really is the 3 races in 5 weeks, or whether there were just a bunch of reasons why these horses didn't win, with maybe just a few cases of the wear and tear being the primary culprit.

I think as far as what to do with this belmont, I think the battle lines are clearly drawn. There are quite a few on this board who believe AP is just the best horse, by a lot, and don't care what his off odds are, they will look for value around him.

I happen to think that this 3 year old crop is going to be looked back on as deep with more than a few fast ones. And that AP will be beat by materiality or frosted, at good prices, in what looks like a big upset, but years later won't look different than victory gallop over real quiet or bet twice over alysheba.

The best part is we each get to put our wallets where our opinions lie and also decide if this is a "take the rubber band off" type opinion or a moderate one. It is the former for me.
