Not entirely sure what you've written.

What I believe is that Keeneland fits AP like a glove and that's why the schedule was selected, but that may not matter at this juncture. I don't believe Baffert wanted a dance at Saratoga, not because the horse wasn't right, but because he knows it can be a demanding track. Parx was in his plans, not Saratoga.

I believe AP is less than 50 / 50 to ever run again. It's a shame but the Breeders and Owner are going to take the easy way out perhaps because all that remains is further maturing 3YO's and Older Horses. Another loss and maybe the Stud interest diminishes, (Especially if its a loss to Keen Ice), or maybe he gets broken.

I think the barn has to know they had some gift races. The Derby was a test, but then it was 3 gifts in a row.

I'll be saddened because only one thing validates good opinion and that's collecting against an odds on horse at the "window" and with AP I haven't yet accomplished that.

He's a good horse. He's a Triple Crown winner, the first in 30 odd years. You've got to have some luck to win the Triple Crown and he certainly did and I think his camp knows it.
