Jackson stated multiple times the importance of a horse proving itself over multiple campaigns, and wanted to prove that value in the breeding shed.

There is zero chance that AP is racing after the BC 2015. The contract with Coolmore requires his retirement. Coolmore's focus is the hundreds of millions it makes from the breeding shed. We needed a Jess Jackson or Alan Paulson to own AP but that's not the way the cookie crumbled.
