Those two races were a bitch, I'm going to review them after several run back. There was no way to do them at even close to the same variant-- if you did, the filly race would have come up even slower. As it was I used 3 point different variants, and still ended up with the filly race collapsing. I considered a bunch of other ways to go, but in the end couldn't justify a bigger variant differential. If the fractions for the two races had been significantly different I might have gone otherwise.
