Note - It was an ugly weather day @ OP. The track was sloppy and the field well strung out behind Essential Quality an impressive winner.

The early pace of the race set by Jackie's Warrior in 23.5 & 48.1, 1:13.5.

If you are looking at Speilberg in particular, The chart declares unprepared, 5w throughout. Furthermore, he came from last @ the 2nd call to be a solid second.

What concerns me most about Speilberg is his solid also-ran finishes in the Bob Hope (@2) and the R. Lewis this year? Can the horse put two good races together back-to-back?

I can imagine BB telling the owners of Speilberg the easiest route to the KY Derby starting gate for you runs thru Hallandale Fla.

Both hard to hate or Love.
