Think we had a similar discussion on this Board a while back.

A small group of fellows (most have since passed away) did the same thing with show bets at Pocono Downs.

The Show pools were very small ($500 to $1000 in 8 horse field). Some real long shots had 0 $$ bet on them. They would bet $1000 to show on longshot and then fire away offshore on the favorite at multiple sites.

Seen payoffs from $5.00 to $30.00.

Must have pulled this betting caper at least 10 times before management shut them down.
