The Science Of Recovery (574 Views)

The science of recovery made "the big time" today. The subject (relative to humans) was featured on Good Morning America?

I immediately thought - I know about that from horse racing.

It turns out the fitness industry is focusing on recovery including the use of electronic trackers which measure the quality of one's sleep. The relationship between stressing the heart and training leading up to the stress of a peak effort.

Seems to be a positive relationship between intense training and a small step up to a competition. Sleep & diet are the other pillars of recovery.
