I've been playing it for nearly 50 years, but the Intro to Sweet Jane from the Rock N Roll Animal (1972) Lou Reed album still brings chills.
Steve Hunter, Dick Wagner, and Prakash John on bass define interplay.
These things are subjective and reflect personal taste, This is mine. I realize the notes are on the high end, but never tire of the shifting tempo at the 2:10 mark before bringing in the trademark chords of the title song around 3:20.
Those were different times.
